She takes her bag and walks out of the cafeteria. Kelvin takes his coffee and smiles.

-What an interesting lady! Sure that I have not met anyone like you before.

Some days later, in each day’s evening, Kelvin always rides his motorbike to Joanna’s school to pick up his niece. Dessa and Olisa smile to him each time they meet, and knowing that his main purpose is Joanna. Joanna also knows that, she stays later in the teachers’ room before going home to avoid meeting him.

One day, Kelvin picks up his niece and brings her home, then returns the school. Joanna thinks that he has left, she collects her things and walks out of the entrance. He rides his motorbike to her place and stops in front of her.

-Joanna, you are avoiding meeting me? – He asks.

-Yup, you know that, why don’t you stop following me? – She replies.

-You promised to give me a chance, but you do not want to meet me, how can we know more about each other without meeting?

-I am not ready for a new relationship, Kelvin, forgive me!

-Why don’t you let the past sleep peacefully and accept the future?

-I just… - Tears come down from her eyes.

-Joanna… - He steps down the motorbike and hugs her. – I know that when people have a broken love, it is hard for them to accept the new one. Please give me a chance and I will prove that you can believe in me, Joanna, please!

On Saturday evening, Joanna chooses a simple dress to meet Kelvin. She does not want him to know her house early, so she said to him she would get to the cafeteria herself. Jessie walks pass through her room and sees her with the dress.

-Wow, you look very beautiful, sister. Are you going to meet someone?

-Yup, that is the guy I said to you several days ago. – Joanna replies.

-The guy with a leather jacket rode a motorbike?

-That is him. He wanted to apologize to me for running his motorbike into me.

-I can sense that it is just not an apology. – Jessie walks closer to her.

-I have no idea, but I do not have feelings for this guy.

-However, you accepted his invitation to go to the cafeteria. It is a strange thing.

-What is strange? – Joanna wonders.

-You did not accept anyone in the past 15 years, including David.

When she gets there, she feels not good with her outfit, she just thought that they would meet at a normal cafeteria.

She gets confused about going into the restaurant or not. Then she decides not to get inside, she is just not suitable for these luxurious things. When she just turns to her backside, a hand catches her.

-Wanting to run away? – Kelvin says to her.

-Well, I just think that my dress is not suitable for this restaurant. – She replies.

-You are always Miss Beautiful in my mind. – He says.

-But… this restaurant is very luxurious, it must be very expensive.

-Oh, who said that I booked our meeting in this restaurant?

-So where? The address you sent me…

-There is a small “B” in the address, so that is this cafeteria, not this restaurant.

Kelvin points at the small cafeteria next to the restaurant and leads her into.

She looks back and sees a waiter falling down to her direction. Kelvin immediately stands up and catches the tray of drinks from the waiter before the drinks can pour onto Joanna.

-Impressive! – People in the cafeteria claps for his action.

He puts down the drinks on their table and returns the tray to the waiter.

-Is this also in your plan? – She wonders.

-I am not a good planner like that. – He laughs.

-So… do you have anything to tell me instead of the plan?

-Joanna… - His expression becomes serious.

-You make me scared when looking at me like that.

-What a hard-to-serve lady! – He says. – Cannot joke too much, cannot make a serious face also.

This guy somehow gets attractions from the kids much. He suddenly raises his face up and smiles with her. She feels shame and looks in another direction.

-Here you are. – He helps her to give the books to the students.

This project is her hard-work pay-off with thinking about new technology to teach foreign languages to primary students.

At lunch, after taking the food from the canteen, she sits down next to her colleagues.

-Did you see someone handsome this morning, Dessa? – Olisa, one of her colleagues, asks another.

Joanna nods and lays down on her bed. Jennifer rubs her hair, looking her with sparkling eyes. She does not want her daughter to have the same faith as she did. She also could not forget her love, and lived alone to grow up her daughters because she could not believe any other man in promising taking care of both her and her daughters. She had witnessed many step-father punishing and beating his wife’s children. Also, the God of Sky did not make her disappointed when her daughters are now good ladies with kind hearts and knowing how to treat people well.

The next day, Joanna has an important meeting with the council of the school. She gets up early and prepares things well. Bringing the documents with her, she walks out of the house and leads to the bus station. On the way, she checked her documents again. Stopping at the border of the road, she waits for the green light to continue.

When the light turns on, she starts to move to the other side of the road. Nearly reach the side of the road, there is a guy, riding a motorbike, who is moving to her place. The guy stops his motorbike right in front of Joanna’s legs making her start and falls down. The documents on her hands fly up and fall on the ground. She hurriedly catches the papers, not even looking at the guy.

-Oh, I am so sorry, Miss! – The guy gets down of the bike.

-… - She does not reply to him.

-I am sorry, Miss. – The guy says again and collects the papers with her.

Suddenly, his hand touches hers. She looks up and sees his face, a handsome man.

“What a beautiful lady!”, that guy thinks himself.

-Well, should you help me to collect the papers instead of looking at me like that? – Joanna asks.

-Oh, sorry, here is yours. – He gives her the papers.

-Thank you. – She says with a bothered voice.

-You are in a hurry?

-Yup, I have a meeting. Sorry, I need to go now.

-Wait a minute! – He catches her hand.

-Well, at the first meet, you hold my hand like that is not a good thing to do.

-Sorry. – He lets out her hand.

-Why do you always say sorry? You do not have any other thing to say?

-Ah… I am a little bit confused.

-Confused? Do I make anything wrong with you? Did I blame you for anything? Or did I shout at you? Oh, I did not do anything.

-You are… just beautiful. – He rubs his back hair.
